Morning Player Notes in the Olympic Pool (Feb 13)

The pre-tournament games for the Olympics haven't gone without any injury and one that was costly within the Olympic pool. Czech forward Milan Gulas was hurt against the Finns in the last couple of days and the results of the tests on his knee are saying that he will not be able to participate in the Olympics and he's heading home, replaced by forward Martin Ruzicka for the tournament.

Much like the Czechs applying for a late replacement and getting their wish, Neil's team applied for a replacement in the hockey pool and it was granted, much like the preseason Waiver Draft we have in the regular pool.  Every team should be opening with 12 healthy skaters and Neil replaced Gulas with Swiss forward Gaetan Haas.
