About midway through the draftable free agents remaining list, you'll find Richard Park, but on Thursday, we can now strike him from the list as he has chosen to sign a 3-year deal with a club team in Switzerland, likely ending the now 34-year old's NHL career.
Park played in 684 career games between the Penguins, Ducks, Flyers, Wild, Canucks and Islanders, scoring 95 goals and 132 assists and was considered to be more of a depth/role player. I would imagine the journeyman forward was likely attracted to the security of a 3-year deal that was offered.
