Names like PK Subban and Max Pacioretty would be locks in my head for missing out on rookie camp, but a little extra work never hurt anyone... or does it in hockey? I think with a little extra jump in their step, these are the kind of guys that can finally make an impact with the Canadiens, especially in camp.

It looks like this will be a very competitive camp, especially with new faces like Lars Eller and Aaron Palushaj joining the ranks. A few first round picks in the mix will also do the team some wonders and maybe some extra training camp invites will come of this camp as well. Louis Leblanc, Yannick Weber and Ryan White are also players that will get good looks in this camp and I expect them all to be in the main camp when it opens in a week. Not sure about sleeper picks at this level beyond Subban, but you never know.
