What was originally diagnosed as just muscle spasms has now turned into a concussion for Carlo Colaiacovo and he has now been placed on the Injured Reserve and will be out for an indefinite period of time. The placement on the Injured Reserve should be retroactive to October 29th, which would make him eligible to return on the weekend, but that would all depend on how serious the concussion is.
Of course, this is a much bigger blow to Benson than just having the injury as a day-to-day neck problem. If I had to guess, Colaiacovo may be out for a little while yet and that means the lead at the top of the standings is not safe... not to say it was safe to begin with anyways.Link to the Injury/News Page
