The Bruins will go into Tuesday night's action against Toronto, only two points up on 9th place Washington, three points up on both Buffalo and Florida and four points up against their evening's opponent. This is not a good time to have two players go down with injury, would you agree? Unfortunately, the Bruins will be without Marc Savard (John P.) and Andrew Ference (Box 23) for this match-up, which could severely hurt their playoff hopes.
Savard went down with a back injury in their game against the Canadiens on Saturday, while Ference suffered a leg injury. Savard is expected to be out of the line-up for both tonight's game and Thursday's second half of the home & home versus the Leafs.
