The Oilers missed out on the services of Joni Pitkanen (Dennis) with an illness, likely the flu. This is the 18th game that Pitkanen missed this season and the sixth time he's been out of the line-up. It's been a rough year for the blueliner and missing the playoffs this year won't help that cause at all.
