The Pacific Division leading Dallas Stars may have taken another blow to their blueline. In the first period of the game against Phoenix, defenseman Philippe Boucher (Box 5) left the game favouring his surgically repaired shoulder and did not return. It was only Boucher's fourth game since returning from his first injury, which occurred on December 3rd.
This season's version of shoulder injuries have not been very good for players, which doesn't bode well for Boucher. If the shoulder injury is severe, which it may be because of the one he suffered already, it could mean a pretty big blow to the Stars team, which is already without Sergei Zubov (Chris) for another week or two.
