Looking at Columbus' Traverse City Roster

I can't say that I'm terribly impressed with what the youth roster of the Blue Jackets has to offer, except for a few names sprinkled in there. Already having seen the Rangers roster, the Blue Jackets are definitely lacking in headlining skill.  I don't think it's a terrible thing at the moment to have, especially since the Blue Jackets look to be close in their roster already, but having a few names in reserve will be the name of the game here.

I'm a little surprised that a few of the Blue Jackets older rookies were not going to make the trek over for this tournament, because it will be considered more of a game-setting and all the games that these guys can get under their belts has to be for the better.

The names I'm looking at to push through include Matt Calvert, Ryan Johansen and Tomas Kubalik up front, Cody Goloubef and John Moore in the back and their goalies might be a wash.  The Blue Jackets did load up on some other minor league talent in the off-season, none of which are going to be considered rookie material for this tournament, but I think you might see a better showing of names when the actual training camp roster comes out.
