Future Considerations |
The Philadelphia Flyers had themselves a problem with their signed player roster, as the waiver claim by the Canadiens for Blair Betts was voided, which meant that he was returned to the Flyers and they had to move a player to fit under the 50-player maximum with a deal. On Wednesday afternoon, the Flyers sent prospect forward Stefan Legein to the Kings with a pick for future considerations.
There's not much to this trade, as Legein, who is an alumni of Canada's World Junior program, hasn't done enough to be more than a minor-league player and with the depth that the Kings have up front, it doesn't seem too likely that he'll crack the line-up there either. That being said, a little more competition should help the team in Los Angeles.
