Sheet Player News (Oct 11)

The Box 25 representative for the Boston Bruins, Jordan Caron, had made the team out of training camp this season, but is currently serving as the extra forward for the team, early on this season. On Monday afternoon against the Avalanche, Caron was a healthy scratch, in a 1-0 loss. Caron has figured into one game this year for the Bruins, failing to register a point in that one game.

The Tampa Bay Lightning decided to go with Bruno Gervais instead of Box 30 defenseman Matt Gilroy on Monday night against the Capitals, where they couldn't pull through in a 6-5 shootout loss.  With the announcement that Mattias Ohlund will be out for a significant amount of time, due to a pair of knee surgeries, this should keep the door open for Gilroy to make some more appearances this season.
