The Anaheim Ducks held defenseman Kurtis Foster out of their line-up on Tuesday night against the Blackhawks and I haven't seen confirmation of it, but I would imagine that he may have come back a little too early from his hip ailment, despite looking pretty good in his début on the weekend. Since he has already played once and scored a goal in that game, I would imagine his exception from the line-up is only temporary.
On Monday night, the Habs lost the services of forward Max Pacioretty to a wrist injury, which was updated as strained ligaments in his wrist, but his injury will not require any surgery to repair and there is a small chance that he won't miss any time due to the injury. Consider him day-to-day right now with the injury and I, personally, would be surprised if the Canadiens were to push him into the line-up.
Both players in this post belong to Allan S. in the pool and he has surrendered some of his lead in 2nd place to a couple of teams on Tuesday, not to say that these two news bytes are directly related to that shrinkage in the gap. Allan still currently sits in 2nd place with 77 points, 11 points back of 1st place and now 3 points up on 3rd place, so there is still some good racing left.
It doesn't sound like either player will be out of their respective line-ups for too long, so he should be back to full working capacity before too long.
