On Wednesday, the Philadelphia Flyers recalled their top prospect in the AHL, Brayden Schenn, who they had demoted at the beginning of the regular season, before they even played a game.
In four games in the AHL, Schenn had scored 4 goals and 4 assists, which obviously made it very difficult for the Flyers to keep him down in the minors. That isn't to say that the Flyers are not offensively shy this season, they have scored 19 goals in five games already this year.
Coming back to the NHL on a hot streak is exactly what Leon G. wanted to hear as one of his sleeper picks has been recalled to the big league. Leon could use a hot, streaking scorer at the moment, as he will enter Wednesday's action in 17th place, 11 points out of 3rd spot in the standings.
