Goalie Announcements (Dec 30)

Well, the holidays are coming to a close here and the week ends with only one game on the schedule.  It makes this a really easy post to look after.

Since the Newsletter will be published tomorrow morning, I won't be posting any spoilers here, but as you might imagine, looking at the pool standings page, there is going to be some big news in the mini-games.  Just you wait and see!

Marc-Andre Fleury (Troy) versus Darcy Kuemper (N/A)
The Golden Knights and the Coyotes are rounding out Week Thirteen's action and both teams played yesterday, so they're both working back-to-backs.  With that being said, I was wrong with their starters in yesterday's post, both teams going with their other keepers and making this post look rather foolish.

With that being said, it will be Marc-Andre Fleury getting the start on the back half of the back-to-backs for Vegas, giving Troy one last start this week.  His team was not very good in Week Thirteen, only posting 10 points and lost some ground on the big money, as he finds his team 22 points back of 1st and 2nd place.

Darcy Kuemper was dropped in the Week Nine Waiver Draft by our pool leader, Stuart, so his value in this game is more of the spoiler variety.  The Coyotes have been playing some decent hockey of late, beating Anaheim yesterday, so they're ready to spoil another playoff party, if they can tonight.
