Morning Player Notes (Dec 16)

The only notes I have from yesterday are a couple from the Minnesota Wild, as they played the Calgary Flames in the early afternoon game. Forward Jason Zucker was held out of the lineup in this game, due to being under the weather, he is currently listed as out day-to-day. In the game against the Flames, defenseman Matt Dumba left the game with an undisclosed injury, uncertain if the injury was sustained in the fight against Matthew Tkachuk, as he played a few more shifts after the fight, but we probably won't know for a couple more days.

The Wild don't play again until Tuesday night, where Zucker should be able to return, but we need to learn more about Dumba's situation.  So, it's a hiccup for Troy's team, which has the forward, while Ryan's team, which has the Wild defender, is in limbo a little bit.  Troy's side has retaken 1st place, while Ryan's team is still climbing, now up to 6th, but if the league's leading defenseman goal scorer is out for any long-term, that progress could halt.
