The Buffalo Sabres may be without Jason Pominville on Friday night, when they go into Washington to take on the Capitals. The veteran forward was absent at practice and is said to be day-to-day, which could mean just about anything these days. There was no official word on the injury, but there are some that believe that he could be under the league's concussion protocol. Again, no confirmation on that, but it's something to keep an eye on.
The top pick in the Week Nine Waiver Draft has been anything but helpful since being activated. He's played six games for Brenda & Seward and hasn't registered a point yet. How very disappointing.
Vegas defenseman Colin Miller's status for Thursday night's game, at home to the Islanders, is in question, as he's dealing with an undisclosed injury as well. He was not on the ice for practice on Wednesday and there is some concern that he may not play tonight. The Golden Knights do have players in place, if he can't go, Brad Hunt may slide into the lineup, but for now, it's questionable, at best.
Jeremy's week isn't going quite so smoothly, having only 3 points through Wednesday night's action and Miller would be a reasonable loss, having 17 points in 36 games already this season. We'll be keeping an eye on this one.
