The Canucks may not have necessarily needed him last night, but Ryan Kesler (Aaron) missed the game after complaining of light-headedness. Kesler came back from the Christmas break feeling ill and didn't dress against the Flames in the Canucks 5-3 win.The Canucks were also without Mattias Ohlund (Dale B.) with what was described as neck spasms, instead of the flu, which the Sherpa initially assumed it was.
There is no exact timetable for either player's return date, but neither are expected to be out for very long.
