The Capitals are keeping some secrets, but after a 6-3 win over the Thrashers, no one is really trying to dig too deep. Michael Nylander (Chris) has missed the last couple games for the Caps with an undisclosed injury. No one seems to know what he's out with, but he's out.
The Capitals host the Devils on Monday as their next game. And there is a good chance we'll still not know if Nylander is going to go for the Caps or not.
Joining Steve Eminger (Box 22) in the press box on Saturday night was defenseman Brian Pothier (Don). This is the first time Pothier has been scratched whilst in Washington, but he shouldn't be out for too long. He does have 10 points in his 28 games played.
