The Penguins returned home from their road trip on a losing note after they won their first three games in the Northwest Division. But even a boost to their road record isn't enough to console the team about the losses they had in personnel on that road trip.
Goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury (Dennis) and Maxime Talbot (non-pool) were lost to the team for extended periods of time with high ankle sprains. Fleury will be out anywhere between 6-8 weeks with his sprain and Talbot is expected to be out for about a month.
Dennis has snaked 19 points out of Fleury so far this season, but his standing is one that could be improved and goaltending plays a huge part in that equation. As we're only in the middle of Week Twelve, Fleury, at worst, will be expected back at the middle of Week Twenty... the time we'll be looking at our second Waiver Draft.
