The Buffalo Sabres suffered another loss to the ranks this week. In the game versus the Senators on Wednesday, the Sabres lost forward Drew Stafford (Box 21) to a concussion for what looks to be a while.
Coach Lindy Ruff was quoted as to saying that Stafford will be out a while, which means he'll likely miss the Winter Classic on Tuesday.
Stafford was having a half-decent season up to this point. His 15 points puts him right in the middle of the Box 21 standings, which doesn't make him a terrible pick, but with the offense tailing off for the Sabres, his production value has gone with it.
