The Ducks open up after the Christmas break on a 3-game Canadian road trip tonight against Edmonton. Unfortunately for the Ducks, they will be without their top defensive centre for the entire trip.
Staying home to rehab an abdominal injury, Samuel Pahlsson (Box 8) will miss all 3 games of the trip and will be re-evaluated when the team gets home for a January 2nd tilt versus the Blue Jackets.Pahlsson has 7 points in 33 games and was never really a big threat in the pool market, but when Anaheim had all sorts of question marks on it's squad, it was in dire need of bodies to fill some of the pool boxes on the Sheet.
