The word has been fairly hush-hush, but late in the Flyers/Islanders game on Thursday night, Chris Pronger left the game with what is described as a hand injury. It would likely take quite a bit to keep Pronger out of the Flyers' line-up, especially this late in the season, so it will be very interesting to see what the diagnosis is.
With the Flyers not going again until Saturday night (in Ottawa), I don't think we'll get an update right away, unless it is fairly bad news and they immediately know how long he'll be out for. Otherwise, consider him day-to-day and expect him to be a game-time decision.
Pronger belongs to the 14th place team of Ryan M., who has had a reasonable start to the third segment of the season. Ryan is currently tied for 7th in the third segment standings with 69 points, but is already behind 1st place by 24 points. That's quite a bit of ground to make up.
