On Wednesday, Box 21 forward Blake Comeau suffered a concussion against the Penguins after what was described in some reports as being hit from the blindside, although there is no confirmation or suspensions supporting that claim. Nevertheless, Comeau, who has been one of the Islanders' best players in 2011, will now miss at least a week, likely with concussion eligibility allowing him to play on Thursday against the Canadiens, but we're still a few days away from getting to the point where the team can say anything towards that.Link to the Injury/News Page
