The Colorado Avalanche announced on Thursday afternoon that they have now lost Box 6 forward T.J. Galiardi for an indefinite amount of time to a wrist injury. Galiardi suffered the injury against the Wild on Wednesday night and has flown home with fellow injured teammate Kyle Cumiskey, who suffered a head injury in the same game. Galiardi has already missed a significant amount of time this season with a broken wrist previously, but the team would not confirm as to whether or not the new injury occurred on the same wrist or not. Nevertheless, Galiardi will be out indefinitely.
The Panthers season has not gotten any easier with the injury to Cory Stillman this week. Stillman suffered an upper-body injury against the Blues earlier on in the week and there is fear that he'll be out of the line-up for a significant amount of time with this injury. There has been no details about the injury to this point, but we'll have to keep our ears to the ground, hoping to hear something soon.
