H1N1 Update

Two more known cases of the Swine Flu were made public last night/early this morning. In Edmonton, Box 14 defenseman Ladislav Smid was confirmed by coaching staff to have contracted the virus. A number of the players on the team have been suffering from flu or flu-like symptoms for over a week, but Smid is the first case of H1N1 to be found among the players.

It was also reported that Derek Armstrong of the Blues (playing in the minors right now) has just gotten over the H1N1 virus recently, which had taken him about a week to do. Of course, that is just a single case and it's turnaround to being healthy, I don't think we can generally apply that formula to everyone, but I'm sure it's close.
