In this minor deal that went down on Wednesday, the Flames acquired another defenseman to help fill out their depth, whilst giving up a minor forward prospect. The Flames picked up a fairly decent defender, who couldn't quite crack the line-up in Chicago, which probably gives the edge to Calgary in this deal. I'm not sure how Greentree is going to figure into Chicago, since they have a lot of depth up front as well.
