Canucks Also Lose Salo

The Canucks have run into even more injury troubles with the loss of Sami Salo to a sprained MCL, which will keep him out of the line-up for 4-to-6 weeks. Salo suffered the injury during the weekend's match-up against the Dallas Stars.

So far in 2009, Salo only has one assist in the first five games of the season, which is awfully low for a defenseman meant to have good offensive production.

Salo's injury is added to a list of players, which includes Daniel Sedin, Pavol Demitra, Jannik Hansen and Mathieu Schneider.

In the Draft, Salo was underachieving on John B.'s team this year and he was underachieving for all of those who took him from Box 12 in the Sheet pool as well.
