The Lightning were without one of the off-season acquisitions on Tuesday night against the Hurricanes, as Kurtis Foster was out of the line-up with a lower body injury. Foster suffered the injury on the weekend, but the injury was not thought to be too serious. According to the Lightning's twitter account, Foster was back on the ice with the team at practice, which should indicate that Foster won't be missing much time at all.
Foster has only managed to figure into one of the team's two games this year, getting injured in that one game. Foster is a Box 30 defenseman on the Sheet and was drafted by Dale C. in the Draft. As a defenseman, missing only one game, his lost fantasy value is rather minimal.
