The Islanders didn't dress veteran forward
Doug Weight on Thursday night, as he was found to be under the weather. The Isles played a tough game against Montreal, losing 5-1, without their captain. I would imagine that he should be good to go when the Islanders return home to face the Capitals on Saturday night.
The Capitals also were hit by the flu bug, as
Alexander Semin experienced some flu symptoms and some soreness in his body on Thursday. The coaching staff haven't ruled him out of Saturday's contest just yet, so he likely isn't in terrible shape. Semin is a pretty popular player in both pools this year, so he'll be missed, if he doesn't dress on Saturday.
