More bad news for the Predators, as they have now placed Jason Arnott on the Injured Reserve with a left arm injury. Arnott injured his arm in the game against the Capitals on Saturday, after a solid check into the boards. He will miss at least a week with the injury, but it's almost expected to be two weeks off the ice.
Arnott was having an alright start to the 2010 season, scoring three goals and two assists in the first seven games. The Preds, as a whole, have not been as offensive as they need to be, having only scored 10 goals in their first seven games, but Arnott has figured into half of them, so it is a big hole to fill.
Arnott was a 7th round pick in the Draft by Chris, who got him in the 105th overall spot. Chris has been struggling in the first three weeks of the pool, so he'll be SOL here for a bit, possibly being left behind.
On the Sheet, Arnott was placed in Box 2, where there were a number of other notable players, including Dany Heatley, so Arnott was passed over quite quickly and often.
