Hejda Out For Six Weeks

Another casualty to the injury list in the Sheet pool. Box 12 defenseman, Jan Hejda, has been sidelined for up to six weeks with a sprained knee, which he suffered in Tuesday night's game against the Flames in a collision with Curtis Glencross. The Blue Jackets are already without Mike Commodore on their blueline, so they could be running with depth players for a little while now.

No one has selected Jan Hejda this season, which doesn't come as a suprise to me. Niklas Kronwall was the favourite out of Box 12 this year, taken 15 out of 41 times. Yes, I've started with the player counts now. So, I guess there is no need to drop him from the Sheet and since no one drafted him, he won't be sitting as a lame duck on anyone's team there either.

If you have him in another pool, you may want to see what you can do while he's away, if anything. No one wants to be stuck with him for too long.
