The Avalanche are really starting to occupy the most number of spots on the news page for the pools, as they added a few more names to the list on Friday night.
Cody McLeod was held out of the line-up and is now listed as out indefinitely with an eye injury. He was hit by a high stick in the game before against Minnesota. Originally, the Avs thought he would just miss the weekend, but it seems a little worse than that.
Peter Budaj was scheduled to make the start for the Avalanche against the Hurricanes on Friday night, but he came down with a bout of the flu, whcih kept him from playing his first game of the season.
During the third period against the Hurricanes, Darcy Tucker was hit from behind by Tuomo Ruutu and the word concussion has been brought up, so it looks like the wily vet will be out at least a week with the head injury.
All three players are situated on the Sheet pool, but not taken in the Draft. I don't believe that any of these three were even considered in the Sheet pool, so there really isn't a great deal of implications of note to make.
