With having to clear waivers to head to the minors, the Sharks placed goalie Dimitri Patzold (Box 12) on the wire on Monday.Patzold has only 43 minutes worth of ice-time this season and he is playing behind one of the busiest goalies in the league in Evgeni Nabokov (Wes). Patzold will get a couple games worth of work to get himself back into game shape and have himself ready for some back-up, if it ever comes.
