During the second period of their romp over the Kings, the Predators saw Alexander Radulov (John P.) collide with teammate Jason Arnott (Marcus). Radulov reportedly strained his neck and as a precaution, the Predators didn't put him back out in the third. The team, by that time, had the game in hand before finally beating Los Angeles, 7-0.
The Predators coaching staff were also very cautious with young defenseman, Ryan Suter (Stuart). Despite returning from a leg injury on Monday, head coach Barry Trotz wanted to sit the defender as he didn't feel that he was ready to return to regular game action. Possibly a couple extra days of practice to strengthen the leg will determine whether or not he'll be ready to go for Saturday in Columbus.
