The Islanders beat the Flames in a shootout on Friday night despite not having one of their talented scoring wingers in the line-up.
The Islanders were without Miroslav Satan (Stuart) on Friday night, because he was suffering from a sprained knee. There hasn't been any indication as to if the injury is serious or not, but a sprained knee doesn't seem to be a long-term injury this season.
Satan hasn't been the offensive force that he was in previous years. This season, he's only potted 10 goals and added 13 assists in 41 games this season. Not quite the scoring pace that the Islanders or Stuart were looking foward to. His lack of offense could be the difference to Stuart being in 3rd place and being in 1st on Saturday afternoon.
