On Thursday, the Vancouver Canucks annouced that they had claimed centre Kris Beech (non-pool) from the Columbus Blue Jackets off the waiver wire.The young centre didn't quite fit into the Columbus system, yet he had 9 points in 16 games with the Blue Jackets, yet he spent the majority of the season thus far in the minors.
