Despite the Finns going up a goal in the first period and keeping that lead through the first, the Canadians still held the territorial advantage through the game and that led to them getting the bulk of the scoring opportunities.
When the second period came along, the boys really took that level they were at and expanded on it. So much so, their hard work finally paid off with some much needed offense. The Canadians had goals from John Tavares, Steve Stamkos, Brad Marchand (pictured) and Stefan Legein in the 4-2 win over the Finns to advance to Friday's semi-final against the United States.
