It's a bit of a slow morning for news, with only three games last night. Amazingly, there wasn't much for injuries last night, so everyone can breathe their sigh of relief. For now.
So in light of little news, there was yet another minor trade swung by the Anaheim Ducks, whom if you haven't noticed, has done the bulk of the deals so far in this 2007-'08 campaign.
In this minor deal, the Ducks sent defenseman Matt Keith (non-pool) to the Islanders for forward Daryl Bootland (non-pool). It's thrilling news, I know. Both players have both been assigned to the minor league affiliates and we'll have another look at them at training camp in September.
