Anderson Has a Stiff Neck

It was a tough game for Craig Anderson on Wednesday night, as Panthers defenseman, Keith Ballard, crashed into the Avalanche keeper in the overtime period in their game. Anderson had to leave the game and was not able to start in Thursday night's game against the Penguins, due to a stiff neck. Anderson was getting a lot of starts over the last month and a half, so this should count as a big break for him, especially if he cannot go on Saturday night in Columbus.

ImplicationsAnderson was the first pick in the Waiver Draft for Chris, who has moved up to 15th place since the Draft, thanks in large part to Anderson's 7 points. Chris is only 5 points behind John P. for 14th and another missed start won't lift him up that high just yet.

On the Sheet, Anderson was a huge trade selection in Box 16, where he was thought to be the back-up going into the season. Anderson now has 21 selections to his name this year, which makes sense, since he's the best goalie in the pools.
