Well, I had to find the video for this one, as Mike Green was the victim of a nasty boarding call, being hit from behind by Colorado's David Koci. Green's numbers were clearly showing when Koci got him and Green had to be helped off the ice, mostly for the towel to clean up the blood.
The word on Wednesday morning is that Green does not have a concussion, but has one of his eyes swollen shut. That's really good news for the Capitals, as they'll wait for his eye to lose its swelling, which they have plenty of time, because the Caps don't play again until Friday in Vancouver.
Since the game was already won for the Capitals and most the goals have already been scored, there wasn't much of a loss in the pool to Larry, who has Green in the Draft and the 31 teams that have him in the Sheet pool. I would expect to see Green on the ice in Vancouver, so I don't think there will be much of a loss here.
