Things are not looking too positive for the recently-returned Milan Hejduk of the Avalanche, who had missed a considerable amount of time already to a knee injury, which looks to be the cause of more anguish for the Avalanche. Hejduk is likely going to miss Sunday's contest with the Flames due to a recurrence of said knee injury and there is some reasonable fears that surgery could be needed.
More of an update will be provided once more is known. For now, consider him day-to-day.
You have to know that Benson is starting to write-off this season with the continual bad luck in the injury department this year. Just as Benson was going to have zero players left on the news page, Hejduk climbed back on to keep his streak of weeks alive. It's terribly unlucky to say the least.
On the Sheet, no one is worried about Hejduk, except for maybe the plethora of Craig Anderson owners, who would have needed Hejduk's help to squeeze out an extra win here and there.
