Hamrlik Expected Out

News out of Montreal this morning suggests that Roman Hamrlik will be out of the line-up because of a knee injury tht he suffered on Wednesday night in the game versus New Jersey. There isn't much more to disclose here on the blog, because this is all I've seen on the injury. Consider him day-to-day for now, but a knee injury is going to be troubling. The Canadiens have recalled Yannick Weber to take his spot in the line-up.

ImplicationsDale B. is now in striking distance of the top five in the standings, but Hamrlik is one of his defenders this year. I'm sure he's hoping that the injury isn't going to keep him out of the line-up for too long, since it's all hands on deck to try and get to the money.

There are plenty of Sheet owners this year, as Hamrlik is the most popular defenseman in Box 28 this year, with 12 selections. Amazingly, the popular decision in the box is wrong and is 10 points behind the box leader, Tobias Enstrom, who has 24 points this year. Just a hint...
