The Kings are continuing to have injury problems this season, as they went into their Western Canada road trip without a couple of their rugged wingers and on Monday, they lost Jarret Stoll in their game against Vancouver to a groin injury, where he wasn't able to suit up on Tuesday versus the Oilers. On Tuesday night, defenseman Jack Johnson took a Sheldon Souray shot off the ankle and had to leave the game and wasn't able to return.
Stoll is considered day-to-day with his groin issue, while Johnson's x-ray results were not known at the moment, but if there is something major, it'll show up here on the blog.
Stoll is a Waiver Draft pick of Dale B.'s this season and has done well since being picked, 7 points in 9 games for Dale. It doesn't sound like the injury is major, so Dale may not be without one of his key forwards for too long.
Stoll has been selected twice in Box 6 on the Sheet, while Johnson was selected once in Box 11 of the Sheet this year. I don't think there is much reason to panic here, but either one could be dealt for a better player in their respective box, as neither rank very well.
