The Flames took more precautionary measures with defenseman Robyn Regehr by not dressing him on Monday night against the Kings, after suffering a minor leg injury against the Sharks this weekend. Regehr reportedly took the morning skate and some practice, but the team decided against letting him go without being 100% last night, so he isn't expected to miss much more time, if any at all.
Missing one game shouldn't hurt John B.'s team at all, especially since he's still in last place in the standings and a defenseman game likely isn't going to close the 5-point gap to 16th place too quickly.
On the Sheet, Regehr was taken twice in Box 13 and he ranks well in the box. His 10 points this season is tied for 3rd in the box scoring, only 4 points behind James Wisniewski of the Ducks.
