It really shouldn't come as a surprise to see a suspension come down to Daniel Carcillo of the Flyers after his punch on a somewhat-unexpecting Matt Bradley of the Capitals on Saturday night. As you could see from the video below, Carcillo took exception to the hit that Bradley put on him and proceeded to lay a cross-check and then try to fight him when Bradley wasn't really going to go. Carcillo only needed one good punch to lay out Bradley and that should be the reason Carcillo was having the book thrown at him for.
Carcillo was deemed worthy of being on the Sheet this season and he sits in Box 24 this season. To no surprise, he wasn't taken at all and his 5 points should be good enough reason to back that up. He's not the worst pick available in the box, but he certainly isn't anywhere near the best.
