It's also been a pretty tough year on the blueline in St. Louis, which sees Carlo Colaiacovo back on the shelf with a foot injury this time around. Colaiacovo was just starting to really get the hang of playing with Erik Johnson when this injury occurred, which is still a mystery of sorts, so his production will have to be put on hold for now. The Blues are saying that he's out day-to-day with this foot injury, which doesn't mean that he'll be out for long, but I grow more and more skeptical about team reports all the time.
If Colaiacovo didn't miss all the time he has so far this season, he would probably be Dale B.'s best defenseman in the Draft, but his 9 points is only good for tied for last on the blueline of his team. Unfortunately, those points missed are also keeping Dale's blueline out of the pool's top half rankings for defensement as well.
On the Sheet, Colaiacovo is a member of Box 11, but wasn't taken at all in the pool, so there are no immediate consequences to anyone in the standings.
