Guess who is back to being suspended again... James Wisniewski. Wisniewski has received a 2-game suspension for his "inappropriate gesture" towards Sean Avery on Monday afternoon. Wisniewski was not penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct, as it wasn't caught by the referee, who was standing next to Wisniewski at the time, but it didn't escape the many leering eyes and cameras in the building.
Well, the two games lost will have a small effect on Larry's draft team, who bit the bullet on taking Wisniewski, just so he could have one of his beloved Islanders on the team. Wisniewski will be eligible to return to the Islanders line-up on Saturday, the 16th, when the Avalanche come to Long Island.Link to the Injury/News Page
