A very scary moment from Monday night's Chicago/Buffalo game, as Jason Pominville was hit from behind by Niklas Hjalmarsson and had to leave the ice on a stretcher. The initial reports are saying that Pominville has suffered a concussion, but the severity of the concussion has yet to be determined, therefore his timetable for a return is still up in the air.I think we can all expect to see Pominville on the injured reserve for quite some time after this hit and there will likely be some supplementary discipline on Hjalmarsson for the hit and when all of that news drops, I will likely post an update here on the blog for it.
