Atlanta Thrashers forward Niclas Bergfors has found his way back up to the press box again with the club. The game on Wednesday night against the Sabres is the second game he's missed out of the first six games this season, due to being a healthy scratch.
The Box 18 forward was one of the centerpieces coming back from the New Jersey Devils in the Ilya Kovalchuk deal and there was some higher expectations from him, especially to start the season with some fresh faces and new potential linemates. Hopefully, for the Thrashers sake, this is only a phase.
In four games this season, Bergfors has a pair of assists, but it may not be his scoring rate that is leading him up to the press box this time around. Stay tuned...
