Can you smell the hockey in the crisp October air? It's here. The 30 NHL teams have dwindled their rosters down to (or below) the 23-man limit and $56.8 million salary cap.
The draft pool occurred on Tuesday for another group of 17 people. That's three seasons in a row that 17 people have participated in it. I'm thinking of capping the draft at 17 people now, just so it would be a rousing success and then people would want in to fill it out. Yeah, that would show 'em. Just kidding. 17 is fun.
The sheet pool is going to be setup tonight, as I have received some sheets already. The deadline for submission is on Sunday, so if you want to get it, you still have a few more days to fill out your sheet and send it to me. Unfortunately for this season, the online sheet didn't quite materialize, so send in your sheets via e-mail, if at all possible.

There were a number of transactions that occurred over the past couple days that I really didn't catch up with. The depth players of most teams were not going to be fantasy players, so I really didn't read too much into those moves.
If you do have any questions about the teams or where some players may be playing, leave a comment on this post and I'll get an answer on here as soon as possible. But for now, game on!
