Flyers Sign Shelley

I just can't seem to shake these Philadelphia Flyers, who seem to be doing all of their off-season shopping all at once. I wonder if Flyers management has a major vacation planned for the rest of the Summer.  The Flyers have now added tough guy Jody Shelley to their line-up, thanks to a 1-year deal worth $1.1 million, giving the Broad Street Bullies name a solid refresher.

Shelley is really only valuable fantasy-wise as a penalty minutes player, as he's usually good for 100+ minutes in this new NHL.  Shelley played in 57 games between the Sharks and Rangers, racking up 115 minutes to go with his 9 points in the year.  Not much more than that, but he does get in a fair share of games, which makes him a roster player.
